Doesn’t matter if it’s brick or wooden house. These tips are for you!
Let’s start from the beginning.
The foundation.
Never judge a foundation by it’s size!
Trust me on this. When our foundation was done all I could think about is: “How on earth are we going to fit everything in here?” Luckily my sister told me to relax. Don’t make it bigger. Don’t judge the size. It only looks small( like the picture above shows). It is only until the walls are up where you can judge the size.
When laying tiles. You have to test the tiles ASAP. You are probably wondering what test?
It could happen that there are air bubbles underneath the tiles. And one day when something heavy is put on it, the tile will crack. You don’t want that!
So as soon as they have laid the tiles(while it is still wet). Take the back of the broom and tap the tile. In the middle and on the corners. You will hear if it is hollow underneath. Let them take it out and redo that tile.
Another thing you need to remember. Not every house/building is perfect. I have heard this a few times before. Not every builder will build every house 100% correctly. If you have a house that is 100% perfectly build. You are lucky. And only you will see that it’s not 100% perfect. To others it is perfect.
